Goodbye Darkness, Hello Light

As I close out this year with not much to do 2020,
it’s been a blast, but I for one won’t ever miss you.
For you took so much hurt & life in your wake,
this year was a global disaster and a colossal mistake.
Pandemics shut the world down, not much fun in sight,
Christmas & all the holidays with masks,
gloves & social distancing oh what fun, yeah friggin right!

So goodbye 2020, let’s kick you out the door.
Don’t ever come back. You’re not welcome anymore!
